Sony’s 280-inch 3D LED display is one pricey billboard

I suppose we have to cover this, even though it seems like one of the most impractical uses of a TV. Once you start to build 3D displays large enough to function as a billboard, then they should also shoot out free pairs of 3D glasses for people passing by to view the content. So, in other words, this is a PR piece for Sony 3D and this “TV” doesn’t really doesn’t have a place other than at trade show.
